As a venue it is your responsibility to ensure that the music, which sets the mood of every occasion, is of a high standard. It is your job to encourage the client to invest in the music. While presentation and food are significant at your venue, it is the music that will leave the vital and lasting impression and poor quality musical entertainment will only serve to jeopardise the integrity and prestige of your venue.
So how do you know which disco to choose?
OUR ASSOCIATION ENSURES THAT OUR MEMBERS ADHERE TO A STRICT CODE OF CONDUCT.
1. SADJA members have been approved of offering high standards to the industry.
2. SADJA DJ’s adhere to a strict and professional dress code.
3. SADJA DJ’s are trained to the industry standards approved by the association.
4. All discos belonging to the Association use high quality sound equipment and lighting effects that adhere to high industry standards ensuring performance and reliability.
5. If you or a client, have a complaint about a DJ, there are recourse channels through the Association, so that your complaints will be dealt with promptly and efficiently.
6. Our members perform their legal obligations as registered members of SAMRO, paying legal Royalties for the music played.
7. Members are all trained to be service minded to meet the client’s and venues particular wishes.
8. The Association prescribes a minimum charge that encourages the integrity of SADJA’s industry to be maintained.
9. All members regularly meet to keep abreast of all the changes in the industry.
10. All members of the Association have indemnity insurance.
11. All members of the Association will help each other out in times of difficulty, so you have a network of support by SADJA.

Remember by supporting our Association you are offering an exemplary service to your clients ensuring that the music played at your venue will be of a high calibre thereby guaranteeing a successful outcome to the evening. This invariably will reflect favourably on the prestige and professionalism of your venue enhancing your marketability to guests at functions. Remember that the greatest seller of all, word of mouth, will promote your venue.
